Bligh Street is a pivotal project in the national commercial market; I have been a fundamental contributor to the design team since March 2007. I have been highly involved with ceiling design, the design of special areas, plant level design and the design of the atrium roof and rooftop levels. I have contributed the following stages; Design Development, Development Application, Tender and Construction Documentation. 1 Bligh Street is fully documented in Autodesk Revit 2009.
1 Bligh Street provides a rare opportunity to be remarkable for all of the right reasons. 1 Bligh Street is a commercial building which defines a sustainable and enduring presence attuned to emerging cultural, social and environmental concerns. Winner of the Dexus/City of Sydney design competition, Architectus in association with Ingenhoven Architects (Germany) have created a highly sustainable office tower. The site is bounded by Bligh, Bent and O’Connell Street. The proposal has been developed with three critical considerations: the View, the Public Space, and the Work Environment.
